About Live Good

"It is not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters" -Epictetus

About Live Good

Live Good OT was formed under the concept that: We believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to maximise their potential- and we want to help make that possible.

We gather information from the physical and the psychological and help you implement actions that will enable you to achieve your goals.

It doesn't matter if you are a professional athlete, retired, unemployed, a director of a business, we at times all need to take stock of our direction, understand where our daily actions are taking us, and ask ourselves if we are happy with the trajectory we are on.

Client experience of Live Good OT

Before I experienced Live Good OT:
I used to feel like I was riding a river that I had no control of, injuries happened to me and I underperformed because of external factors. I had a negative self talk and a massive fear of failure. So paralysed by fear of underperforming I wouldn’t take risks and became passive when challenged. I had little self confidence and assumed that people didn't value me. It was such a negative place full of fear and self doubt.
With my team of two, a physiotherapist and occupational therapist I have completely changed my whole mindset, approach and awareness. I now see situations from above.

Now:
Looking back I didn’t have the self awareness to see the poor mental habits I had and what this was doing to me. With the OT I analysed my daily actions to see what trajectory they were taking me on. When I saw the bigger picture and that my goal of being in a World Cup would be risked if I continued using the current strategies it made me re-think and want to change.
We “re-plotted” my habits and actions to ensure they were taking me in the direction that I needed to go. This required me to change how I viewed myself and the world around me.

Some of the most helpful parts were (it is hard to narrow this down!):

Openly talking about why I have certain fears and understanding how fear and failures are an important part of development and growth. Then setting small fear goals that had a big impact on my confidence and trajectory after.

Connecting with my true self and the values that can guide my decision. This has helped me become my authentic self and live a happy, grateful life.

Changing habits into positive and supportive habits and actions that help my be the best version of myself.
